The NMSU High Performance Computing environment comprises a heterogeneous, shared high-performance system designed to support data-intensive and AI research workflows. GPU-accelerated resources include Dell PowerEdge XE7745 servers configured with NVIDIA RTX 6000 Blackwell GPUs and dual AMD EPYC 9575F processors, complemented by two XE7745 nodes equipped with NVIDIA H200 NVL (141 GB) GPUs interconnected via 4-way NVLink to support large-model training and memory-intensive workloads. General-purpose compute capacity is provided by eight Dell PowerEdge R7725 nodes for preprocessing, simulation, and data engineering, each featuring dual 96-core AMD EPYC 9655 processors. The system is supported by a centrally managed hybrid storage infrastructure providing 7.649 PB raw HDD and 161 TB raw flash capacity (7.168 PB usable HDD and 68 TB usable flash), enabling high-throughput data access and sustained performance across multiple concurrent research projects.
