Amy Wagler, Ph.D.

Director, Research Computing & Data Science

Dr. Amy Wagler serves as New Mexico State University's Director of Research Computing and Data Science, leading efforts to strengthen the university's high-performance computing, data science, artificial intelligence, and research data infrastructure.

Her work supports data-intensive and interdisciplinary research across NMSU while helping expand access to advanced research computing resources throughout New Mexico. She also works with statewide partners and institutions to broaden participation in high-performance computing.

Dr. Wagler's background spans statistics, data science, research computing, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She earned her Ph.D. in Statistics from Oklahoma State University.
